See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe 2022 NFL regular season is already nearing its end as we arrive at Week 13. The NFC South will be in action when the New Orleans Saints visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. This meeting marks the second Saints vs Buccaneers clash of the season, making it interesting to see who wins and gains some much-needed ground in the divisional race.
The Saints have had absolutely no luck lately, losing three of their last four games. Last week’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers was embarrassing as New Orleans was shut out, 13-0, recording only 260 total yards over nine drives.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers had their winning ways snapped by a 23-17 overtime loss to the Cleveland Browns. Tampa Bay looked to be on the way to its third straight victory, however, David Njoku scored a 12-yard touchdown with 32 seconds remaining to force OT, where Nick Chubb ultimately found the end zone.
Betting News has gathered the latest Saints vs Buccaneers odds from BetOnline Sportsbook to help shed some light on the situation, along with a prediction and best bets for the NFL Week 13 game.

New Orleans Saints vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction and Picks
Saints vs Buccaneers Prediction: Buccaneers 21, Saints 16
Saints vs Buccaneers Picks: Buccaneers -3.5 (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline) & Under 40 Points (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline)
As mentioned before, this is the second meeting of the year between these NFC South rivals. The duo previously met for a Week 2 clash in New Orleans, ending in a low-scoring 20-10 victory for Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.
The victory was actually a rare one for Tampa Bay as far as this rivalry is concerned. The Bucs lost seven of their previous eight matchups against the Saints before winning in Week 2, leaving time to tell if they can recreate history this week.
The good news is that the Saints are looking quite vulnerable right now. On top of losing three of their last four outings, Dennis Allen’s team has been held to 13 or fewer points in each of those three losses.
The offense just isn’t there anymore, especially with Andy Dalton under center. The veteran Saints quarterback is averaging 212 passing yards over his last four starts, throwing out only five touchdowns to three interceptions over that stretch.
While Dalton has struggled, Tom Brady has looked great for the Buccaneers. He’s racked up 246-plus passing yards in each of his last three appearances, tallying a 5:1 TD:INT ratio in those games. Even though the Saints have one of the better secondaries in the league, names like safety J.T. Gray and cornerback Marshon Lattimore are banged up. In other words, there could be room for TB12 to do some damage.
Also, expect the Buccaneers to take advantage of the Saints owning the ninth-worst run defense on the road (146.2 yards per game). Rookie rusher Rachaad White is averaging 4.7 yards per carry over his last two games, so look for him to do some damage, as well as Leonard Fournette if he can play.
In the end, I just don’t have faith in a Saints team that was shut out last week. On top of that, they’re an abysmal 1-4 on the road this season, having failed to cover the spread in each of those matchups.
The Bucs aren’t exactly perfect, but they’ve at least won back-to-back games at home. Plus, they were embarrassed after blowing a late lead to the Browns last week, so I expect Brady and his teammates to use this outing to make a statement in primetime.
With the Saints being straight-up awful on the road, the Buccaneers shouldn’t have issues covering the 3.5-point spread. After all, they beat New Orleans by 10 earlier this year and have won their last two games by an average of four points.
I’m also expecting the total to go under 40 points. The under has been hit in four of the last five Saints vs Buccaneers matchups and with both sides owning two of the bottom-six offenses over the last three weeks, I don’t expect many points here.
