See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe Tennessee Titans travel across the country to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in a very important AFC battle for both teams.
Both of these teams are sitting at 7-6, and have the playoffs firmly in their sights but seem to be going in different directions as we round into the final weeks of the season.
The Chargers picked up a big win last week on Sunday Night Football against the tough Dolphins squad.
They seem to be getting healthy at the right time and are primed for the home stretch of the season, where every game matters and wins and losses truly make or break your season.
The Titans on the other hand aren’t having the same luck.
The have lost 3 in a row, their latest loss coming at home to their division foe, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Injuries have plagued this roster all season, all over the roster but especially on defense.
It has gone from bad to worse the past 3 weeks but even with the injury woes and the losing streak, the Titans are still leading the AFC South and are in the driver seat to win the division and make their 4th straight playoff appearance.
What does that mean for this matchup though?
In a battle of two teams who are on the opposite side of the injury status, can the Titans come out to fight in LA? Or will the high flying Justin Herbert and the Chargers be too much to handle at home?

Prediction
As always, I want to be upfront and honest with you.
I am a Titans fan and follow this team extensively.
That being said, I do always try to pick the side that makes the most sense, not just always back the Titans.
In this spot, I am very torn. I was considering taking the Chargers here, but after further review, I reconsidered.
I have no doubt Justin Herbert will have a massive game against the Titans secondary. They are 31st in pass defense, which sets up one of the best arms in the game to have a huge day.
But on the other side, the Chargers really struggle to stop the run and the Titans, even with all of their offensive deficiencies, are still one of the best ground attacks in the NFL.
I think this game will be scrappy and, given the playoff implications for both teams, will come down to the wire.
I am taking the Titans with the points to cover the spread and keep this within striking distance all game long.
Best Bet
Titans +3 (-118)
Prop of the Game
Derrick Henry o100.5 Rush yards (-110)
I rode with the King last week and he came through for me against the Jaguars.
Well, I am going straight back here in an awesome matchup against the Chargers.
The Chargers allow the most yards in the league after contact on the ground and are the 5th worst against the run.
The Titans don’t want to get into a shootout with the Chargers and they will be riding the King all day long.
