What an insane day for NHL action. Nearly every team is playing and some of the matches look absolutely delicious, which means loads of NHL player props. It will be hard to narrow down all the NHL player props that are available, so let the fine folks at Betting News hand select some goals, SOGs and points for tonight.

NHL player prop Jack Eichel o3.5 SOG (-130) on BETUS
I like Eich! Something clicked after winning the Stanley Cup because Jack Eichel has been on a tear. Maybe it is being a full year out of a major back surgery. Perhaps it’s being on one of the best teams in the league. But whatever the reason may be, he has been soaring past his SOG line.
In the first four games of the season Eichel has hit his 3.5 SOG line three times. He had 6, 8, and 8 SOG’s in those games. His shot volume has been extremely high averaging 8.5 shot attempts per game. Tracking shot attempts is a great way to predict SOG performance, and with so many NHL SOG options tonight this type of volume is what you want to see.
Tonight he faces the Winnipeg Jets on the road, which will be a tough match. However, in seasons past he has performed better on the road than at home. He also played the Jets in the playoffs and is familiar with their team. In fact, in the playoffs he covered this line in the two away games.
While the Jets have been good at suppressing SOG, they have not been disciplined. They have taken the 7th most penalty minutes per game, which will allow Eichel more space and time on the powerplay to rip pucks on net. This is one of the best looking NHL player props of the night.
Clayton Keller Goal (+140) on BETUS
Clayton Keller is from the St. Louis area and seems to bring it every time he plays his childhood team The Blues. Keller has notched 8 goals in his past 11 games against the Blues. It seems like having family and friends in the barn helps him produce.
Last season the Blues struggled to keep pucks out of the back of the net. They allowed the 6th most goals against all season, with 3.67 GA/GP. Goaltender Binnington has been much sharper this season, but luckily the Blues will be starting Joel Hofer. Hofer only has 8 NHL games under his belt, with a 3.18 goals against average. While these are not terrible stats for a young netminder, they are hardly elite.
The Coyotes have only scored one goal in their past two games, both against very tough teams. This is a great spot for this young Coyotes team to spark their offense, and Keller is just the guy to get it going. Keller goal is an NHL player prop that has excellent value.
Brandon Hagel point (-139) on BETUS
Hagel may not be a household name yet, but Tampa Bay seem to get the best out of their players. Since being traded from the Chicago Blackhawks Hagel has found his scoring knack and solidified himself as a top six forward on one of the most dominant teams in the NHL.
While Hagel’s SOG also look great tonight, his point is too good to pass. He has 5 points in four games this season and is playing on the 2nd line with Steven Stamkos. He also loves playing against his opponent the Vancouver Canucks. He recorded 3 points in his two games against them last season.
Stamkos is a big piece why this NHL prop looks great. Stamkos has 16 goals against the Canucks in 18 games. With Hagel on his line there is a good chance that Hagel gets in on this action. Stamkos goal can be had for +140 on BETUS which is a bonus prop for those who read this far!

Tampa’s goaltending is still very questionable, so the Lightning will need to rack up goals to win. In the first four games this season Tampa have allowed 17 goals. On the other side they have scored 13 goals, meaning their games have been high scoring affairs. With great line mates and a fantastic game script Hagel point is an NHL player prop worth betting on.
