Blackhawks vs Kings NHL Prediction: Back the Kings Big in the City of Angels (11/10)

The Chicago Blackhawks travel to the city of Angels to take on the Los Angeles Kings in a Thursday night showdown.
The Blackhawks had been playing great hockey to start the season, which has been a surprise to many.
They are 5-5-2 and just beat the Kings a week ago in Chicago 2-1 in Overtime.
They have been getting great play from Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane to start the season, and Goaltender Alex Stalock has been very good to start as well.
He is 3-2-1 and is posting a .914 Save percentage.
He has missed some time the last few games with a concussion so Petr Mrazek should be in net tonight.
Mrazek hasn’t been as good as Stalock, and the Blackhawks have partially suffered because of it.
They have lost 5 of their last 6 and need to write the ship against the Kings again tonight.
The Kings on the other hand have won 4 of their last 6 and have dusted off some early season inconsistency.
Adrian Kempe has looked dangerous on the offensive end (more on him later) and newcomer Kevin Fiala is finding his place in this offense as well.
In a late night, West Coast battle, who will come out on top?

Prediction
I don’t love the spot here for the Blackhawks.
They haven’t been playing as well the last couple of weeks and they have to go into LA and play this Kings team they just played.
The Kings on the other hand have been playing better recently, especially defensively, and I think they take it to the Blackhawks tonight and win comfortably at home.
Best Bet
Kings -1.5 (-114)
Props
Adrian Kempe o3.5 SOGs (+110)
As I mentioned earlier, Kempe has started heat up lately.
He has hit his shots in 3 of his last 4 and hit when these two teams played last week.
He hasn’t scored a goal in 5 games so I think he comes out hungry tonight to put one in the back of the net.
For the plus money value on his shots, you can’t go wrong.
Enjoy this great NHL slate tonight! I will be posting my SOG article today as well so be on the look out for that HERE.
