The Canucks look for more success as they enter tonight’s contest following Tuesday’s 2-1 overtime victory against the Los Angeles Kings. The Golden Knights are trending in the opposite direction, though, hoping to avoid a fourth straight loss after falling 6-3 to the Columbus Blue Jackets earlier this week.
Both clubs have a solid shot at winning a championship this season. Vancouver currently holds the eighth-best odds (+1100) to hoist the Stanley Cup this spring while Vegas sits in 11th at +1600 odds, per BetOnline’s futures markets.
Who will emerge victorious tonight? Let’s dive into my Canucks vs. Golden Knights betting preview to discuss.

Canucks vs Golden Knights NHL Prediction & Pick (3/7): Upset in Sin City
Even though the Golden Knights are the home team tonight, it’s hard to buy into them as the favorites.
After all, the Golden Knights have struggled lately, going 1-4 SU on their five-game road trip as well as 2-8 SU across their last 10 games overall. Vegas has been outscored 43-32 throughout that stretch and has struggled to keep the puck out of its net, allowing at least five goals six teams — including in each of the last three games.
Unfortunately for Bruce Cassidy’s club, the Canucks boast one of the most dangerous offenses in the NHL. Vancouver averages the fifth-most goals per game while boasting a trio of 30-goal scorers on the roster with Brock Boeser leading the charge with 35 goals.

Even though the Golden Knights are returning home tonight, T-Mobile Arena hasn’t exactly been treating them well. Vegas has lost four straight home games, getting outscored by an average of 2.5 goals per contest.
The Canucks have also proven that they know how to get the job done in Sin City. They’ve won four of their last six trips to T-Mobile Arena, which includes back-to-back 5-1 victories in the last two visits. And even though Vancouver is just 4-3 SU across its last seven away contests this season, it is coming off back-to-back road wins.
Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill’s recent struggles likely have the Canucks salivating, too. Hill has been terrible lately, going 1-5-0 with a 4.27 goals-against average and .876 save percentage across his last seven appearances.
At the same time, the Canucks hope to get better play from Thatcher Demko. He’s also struggled to produce results, highlighted by a 2-4-1 record, 3.17 GAA, and .884 SV% in his last seven games.
Will the Canucks be able to beat Vegas G Adin Hill tonight?
Despite what the oddsmakers say, I’m taking the Canucks tonight. Vancouver is the better team at the moment and has had a ton of success at T-Mobile Arena over the last few years. Until the Golden Knights begin to show some true improvements, it’s best to fade Vegas and ride with the Canucks instead.
With that in mind, let’s keep things simple by taking the Canucks as moneyline underdogs for the best bet.

Best Canucks vs Golden Knights NHL Player Prop (3/7)
I’m going with Brock Boeser to score at least one goal as the best Canucks vs. Golden Knights player prop this evening.

Again, Boeser has been the Canucks’ top goal scorer throughout the campaign. He has four goals in his last five games but hasn’t scored in his two latest outings, so I see him being due to hit the twine tonight. That’s without mentioning how Boeser scored in two of his last three trips to T-Mobile Arena.
The Golden Knights are bleeding goals lately and there isn’t a reason to believe that’ll change tonight. I’ll be surprised if Boeser leaves Vegas without at least scoring his 36th goal of the campaign.
