Game 1 and 2 Recaps
The Rangers went into New Jersey and dominated the Devils. They posted two 5-1 victories, and looked to be in complete control the whole time.
In Game 1, the Rangers were up 3-0 after two periods, and were up 4-0 late in the 3rd before closing it out. They fell down 1-0 after the 1st in Game 2, but then went on to score five unanswered goals in commanding fashion.
Playoff experience, and lack thereof, is certainly coming into play in this series.

Devils vs Rangers Best Bets
The New Jersey Devils absolutely need to win this game, or else their season is probably over. Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier will come out in full force to try and extend this series.
The Rangers are coming off an ECF run last year, and are looking to return. They added Vladimir Tarasenko and Patrick Kane to their already stacked lineup, thus boosting their chances at lifting the Cup. They are off to a red hot start after winning two playoff games to even the overall season series, and I do not think they will slow down.
Game 3 Picks
Rangers in Regulation (+110) BetMGM
I have the Rangers making it to the Stanley Cup Finals this year, and they might have all the pieces to go all the way this year. Igor Shesterkin is one of the best goalies in the NHL, and has been fantastic in the playoffs.
In his last 15 playoff games, Igor has only allowed more than 2 goals three times. In 22 playoff games dating back to last season, he has only allowed more than 3 goals three times as well. He has been rock solid in the playoffs, and especially at home.
If the Rangers win Game 3 like I expect, fans should safely bring their brooms to Game 4.
Chris Kreider over 0.5 Point (-136) BetOnline
Here we are simply riding the hot hand.
Against the Devils this year, Kreider has had a point in all 6 games. This includes 3 multi-point games, with 2 of those being the 1st two games of this series. Dating back to last season, this has now hit in 9 straight games, with 6 of those 9 being multi-point games.
This has hit in his 10 of his last 11 against the Devils, including a goal in 5 straight and in 10 of his last 12 games. Kreider had a point in 12 of 20 games last playoff campaign, including in the 1st three games.
Kreider has had 2 goals in both Game 1 and Game 2, I see him having no problem getting a point for us tonight.
