Both of these teams have their sights set on the postseason as the last 2 months of the NHL season is beginning to heat up.
The Avalanche have put many of their early season woes behind them and are picking up steam and getting healthy at just the right time.
The Avs have won 5 in a row and are 7-1-2 in their last 10.
Nathan MacKinnon (more on Nathan in a bit so keep reading) and Mikko Rantanen have been especially fantastic of late, both with 4+ goals in the last 5.
For Vegas, they have also been playing great, winning 6 of their last 10 and are looking to build on their lead as the #1 team in the West.
Their last 3 games have been Overtime battles and they will have their hands full again tonight with this aggressive Avalanche offense.
The last 3 games between these 2 teams have been 1 goal games and I expect another close one tonight.
The Consensus is all over Colorado on the Moneyline, with the Public Bet percentage at 84% and the Expert Bet percentage at 74% and I am going to ride with the Avalanche as well.
Take the Avalanche to get the job done on the Moneyline at home and enjoy a playoff-type game in Denver tonight!

As I mentioned above, Nate has been awesome the past 2 weeks and he loves playing VGK.
He has 5+ SOGs in 6 of his last 9 games and has scored 8 goals in those 9 as well.
He has scored a goal in 3 straight against the Knights and in his last 2, he has 7 and 8 Shots on Goal.
I am expecting another big night from MacKinnon and the good value on his shots is my favorite play.
His ATG, or Any Time Goal, is also a great look as well, so either way, MacKinnon is a MUST BET tonight.
