See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe Golden Knights travel to Calgary to take on the Flames in a battle of two early unbeaten teams.
The Flames have looked excellent to start the season, putting to rest that they would lose a step with the departures of Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk.
Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri have fit in perfectly and new defenseman MacKenzie Weegar is making his presence felt as well, notching two points from the first two games.
Vegas has also come out of the gates playing really good hockey, returning to form after a disappointing 2021 season.
Jack Eichel has looked excellent to start the season and Captain Mark Stone is back as well, healthy and buzzing.
Who has the edge in this matchup?

PREDICTION
This is going to be a great game and an early season gauge of how both of these teams are fairing.
That said, you won’t find me putting my money against the Flames at home very often and today is no different.
They handled their business pretty soundly against a talented Avalanche squad last week and I think they do the same here tonight.
I don’t want to lay the juice on the Moneyline so I am going to bet on them to get it done in regulation for plus money.

PROPS
JACK EICHEL POINT (-138)
Eichel has gotten off to a fast start this season, recording 3 points so far and is leading Vegas with his aggressiveness.
He looks healthy and I love this value for him to get a point.
He has recorded a point in 7 straight games against the Flames and has one in two of three to start the year.
MARK STONE POINT (-132)
Love the value here again for Stone who is back and looks healthy.
He has a point in two of their first three games and a point in five of the last six matchups against the Flames.
NAZEM KADRI ATG (+184)
This is a play that is more of, I just have a feeling.
Kadri scored last game against the Oilers and looks like he is settling in nicely in Calgary. I like the value for a guy who just scored and is going to be firing again tonight.
This isn’t backed up by stats, necessarily, more just a gut feeling.
And my number one rule is always go with your gut.
I will have some Shots on Goal props for this game as well, but the lines aren’t available yet so check on my Twitter @SweatpantsJesus for those later today.
