Game 1 and 2 Recaps
The Jets shut down the Knights completely in Game 1. They raced to a 5-1 victory and it was an easy night for Connor Hellebuyck in net. He only faced 17 shots, stopping 16.
After a scoreless 1st, the Jets score two quick goals to start off the 2nd Period. The Knight were able to get one back before the 2nd intermission thanks to William Karlsson. But it was no match for the Jets.
Winnipeg scored 3 goals in the 3rd to solidify a statement victory. But Game 2 was different.
The Knights figured it out on the offensive end, putting up 5 goals and 39 shots on their way to a 5-2 victory. After falling down 1-0 after the 1st, the Knights went up 2-1, only for the Jets to tie the game before the 2nd intermission.
Now it was the Knights turn for a 3-0 3rd Period in their favor, to secure the victory.

Jets vs Knights Best Bets
This is a massive game in this series. After stealing Game 1, the Jets have a chance to take a dominating lead on their home ice. Ideally, they will look to head back to Vegas up 3-1 in the series.
The Knights have their backs against the wall, however they certainly have the firepower to get it done on the road. Mark Stone is back and scored twice in Game 2, adding another piece to this offense. The Jets will need to contain him and the rest of the Knights like they did in Game 1.
Game 3 Picks
Hellebuyck over 27.5 Saves (-106) BetOnline
Connor Hellebuyck should get the start in this crucial game. The Knights have clearly figured out a way to put the puck on net, but Helly is one of the best goalies in the league.
He ranks 4th in Goals Saved Above Expected, stopping nearly 31 expected goals this season. However, his teammates allow him to face plenty of shots because they do not block very many. Amongst goalies who played at least 40 games this season, Hellebuyck ranks in the bottom 4 of Percentage of Shots Blocked by Teammates, blocking just 19.46% of shot attempts.
Hellebuyck should be on his A-game and get over his saves tonight.
1st Period Under 1.5 (-110) BetOnline
While I’m not much of a totals guy on the ice, I do dabble in 1P Over/Unders from time to time. This is a game where I will target the 1P Under.
Both games of this series have gone under, including one that was completely scoreless. This season, Vegas is 40-37-7 to the under, and the Jets are 48-34-2. At home, the Jets are 23-17-1 to the under.
Hellebuyck should be a brick wall, and I expect the Jets to be defending a Vegas onslaught early in this one.
If we can avoid the penalty box, I think this 1P stays under.
