Seattle Kraken vs Dallas Stars Overview
These two teams actually had all three regular season matchups happen within a span of just 10 days. Each home team was able to win their games, giving the Stars a 2-1 season series edge.
We saw a game in each arena go into overtime, with quite a bit of scoring in each game. The two teams combined for 23 goals in just three games this regular season. They also combined for over 57 SOGs per contest.
Will we see more offense in this series?

Kraken vs Stars Game 1 Best Bets
Dallas Stars in Regulation (-120) BetMGM
We’re siding with the home team in this first game. The Stars have successfully defended their home ice against the Kraken twice this year, and last time did so in dominant fashion winning 5-2.
Beating the Wild in six games gave Dallas a full three days off in between games. The Kraken just went toe-to-toe with the Avalanche Sunday night.
Jake Oettinger has been phenomenal for the Stars all season and especially in the post season. He’s started all three games against Seattle this year, while the Kraken have brought out a new goalie for each matchup against the Stars.
We likely see Philipp Grubauer start tonight, who gave up 4 goals on just 25 shots in his lone start against the Stars.
Matty Beniers over 1.5 SOGs (-155) BetMGM
Now its worth noting that both of these defenses rank in the Top 10 in SOGs allowed, however we just need two from a guy on the top line and on the 2nd PP unit.
Beniers cleared this in 4 of 7 games against the Avalanche in the first round, including two games with 3 SOGs, one of them being Game 7. He had at least 1 SOG in every game and totaled 13 SOGs on 20 Shot Attempts.
His chart on Outlier.bet looks beautiful. See for yourself.
At -155, this could be a great parlay piece as we aren’t asking for too much.

Jake Oettinger Under 2.5 Goals Allowed (-149) BetOnline
Although there has been lots of scoring in the matchups between these teams, there really hasn’t been too many SOGs. As stated above, both teams rank in the Top 10 in SOGs allowed per game, and I lean with the full game under tonight.
Oettinger has stayed under this line in three straight games, allowing just 3 goals in that span. He’s stayed under in 7 of his last 10, and in 2 of 3 at home against Seattle.
He will need to step up big time for this Stars team tonight, and I like him to have a rock solid evening between the posts.
