Connor McDavid is having another Hart Trophy worthy year. He is on pace to be the first player to record 100 assists in a season in over 30 years. Zach Hyman has been having a killer year with 52 goals so far.

Vegas has had a great year despite not ranking in the top of the league on offense and defense. They find themselves right in the thick of the playoff race.
The Knights are on a 2-game losing streak but are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. On the road, Vegas is 18-16-6, so not the best, but they did win the last game between these 2 teams.
As of now, it is looking like they will make the playoffs as a Wild Card team. The Knights are led on offense by Jack Eichel and Jonathan Marchessault. Both have been hard at work with team captain Mark Stone on the LTIR.
Goalie Logan Thompson is expected to get the start in net. He has a record of 22-14-5 this year with a 2.75 GAA and a .907 save percentage. He’ll be depended on heavily as the Knights try and secure another 2 points in the standings.

This is going to be a really good game. Both teams have something to play for. Vegas is trying to secure their spot and the Oilers will want to keep their momentum going.
I like the Oilers with the home advantage. McDavid is playing out of his mind yet again. He will be looking to get that 100th assist as well. Expect this offense to come out firing and early.
Thompson will hold his own, but I don’t think it will be enough. That home crowd is going to be rocking for the boys and how could they not.
We’re backing the Oilers at home getting value on the moneyline. I’ll also be taking McDavid for 2+ assists when the lines come out as a little nugget for ya.
