Game 5 Prediction and Best Bet

Although the Stars were able to secure the victory at home Thursday night, I do not think that continues tonight.

The Knights are a very good hockey team, and are incredible at home this year. The Knights were 25-15-1 at home this regular season, and are 6-2 this playoff campaign.

Personally, I think Vegas is too big and bad for the Stars to conquer. I expected Vegas to finish this in four last week, good for the Stars for winning one, but I think their season ends tonight.

Knights vs Stars Best Bets

Although I side with the Knights, I’m not necessarily confident enough to put money on them. However, if you’ve been reading these at this point, you would know I’d be prone to take the Knights in Reg at around +110.

But, here are some player props for this game.

Game 5 Player Props

Roope Hintz over 2.5 SOGs (-157) Caesar’s

Mr. Hintz hits this number in 52% of away games this year, plus he’s hit in 11/17 this playoffs.

He’s hit this the last two games against Vegas, and in 3/4 games this series. He still had 2 SOGs on 6 Shot Attempts in Game 2.

In a time where the Stars need their biggest players to step up, I like Mr. Hintz to rip three for us tonight. Hintz has hit in 4/6 against VGK this year, and 7 of his L9 against the Golden Knights.

Now I would expect this line to be priced where it is, and I have no problem paying the juice man. But it’s worth noting that Pinnacle, one of the sharpest books on the market, has this number at -129 to the over. I think this might be a little clue that this might be a no sweat bet.

I also like his SOGs laddered.
