Knights vs Stars Series Recap
Just a few days ago, the Stars looked like they might get swept by the Knights. They found themselves down 3-0 in the series, and would lose captain Jamie Benn for the next two games.
Low and behold, the Stars ended up surviving Game 4 by winning 3-2 in overtime, after being down 2-1 in the 2nd period. Then, they traveled to Vegas and snuck out of Sin City with a 4-2 victory Saturday night.
Now, the Stars are back home, they’ve got their captain back, but they are still down 3-2 and are playing to defend their season. Admittedly this is much easier done at home than on the road.
Will the Stars survive again and force Game 7? Or will Vegas finally put the nail in the coffin tonight?

Knights vs Stars Prediction
While my initial prediction for this series had the Stars winning in 7 games, I definitely lost faith after the first three games. Now we’ve seen new life in the Stars, they get to play in front of their home crowd, and are back to full strength.
Anything is possible.
While I can’t really figure out a side on this one, I’ll be rooting for the Stars in hopes of another playoff Game 7 which we all adore. However, I do have a few bets for you.
Game 6 Best Bet
VGK/DAL Over 5.5 (-105) Caesar’s
I think this one might be a goal fest.
The Stars will come out firing as they’re fighting for their season, while the Knights should do the same thing. Worst case for Vegas, they have to go back home to play Game 7. Might as well try everything to finish it off tonight.
While Adin Hill and Jake Oettinger have both had rather good series, tonight might be the night for some regression with Jamie Been back in the lineup and Dallas fighting for their lives.
Going along with this game script, I’ve got a couple player props as well in this one.
Game 6 Player Props
Jonathan Marchessault over 0.5 Point (-132) BetOnline
Marchessault plays on the top line with Jack Eichel and the 1st powerplay as well. He finds himself in great spots to create high danger chances for himself and his teammates.
Marchessault hits this number in 58% of road games this year, and has hit in 71% of road games this playoffs (5/7). In those seven road games, he has 8 points.
In the playoffs as a whole, he has 16 points in the same number of games, including a point in 4 straight games this series.
Marchessault can’t seem to break past 3 SOGs this series, but he’s finding other ways to be effective.
For -132, I’m willing to lay the juice for him to get a point tonight.
Jamie Benn over 0.5 Point (-116) BetOnline
Benn’s suspension is already over thanks to his teammates. He gets to hit the ice again tonight, and I’m sure he’ll want to make up for lost time.
Jamie Benn is looking to play with Wyatt Johnston and Tyler Seguin on the 2nd line, but he is on the 1st PowerPlay. There he will get to play with Robo, Pavelski and Roope Hintz. Benn should have plenty of opportunities to create a scoring chance skating around with 5 incredible forwards who can all score at will.
For the price, I’m definitely betting on Benn to come back hot off suspension.
