Oilers vs Knights Series Recap
Game 1 Recap
The Knights took Game 1 after an absolute thriller. We saw 10 total goals, including 5 in the 1st period. We also saw all 4 Oiler goals come off the stick of Leon Draisaitl.
Vegas ended up winning 6-4 with an empty netter to seal the deal late in the 3rd. The Golden Knights outshot the Oilers 33-27 on their way to victory.
Game 2 Recap
Game 2 was different.
The Oilers came out absolutely screaming. The Oilers scored less than 3 minutes into the contest, another goal by none other than Mr. Draisaitl (He ended with 2 goals). Then it was Evan Bouchard five minutes later, Connor McDavid four minutes after that, and then another one from Draisaitl to go into the locker room up 4-0.
They never looked back.
McDavid got his second goal of the game during the 2nd period, and the Knights got one in the 3rd to make it a 5-1 Oiler victory. The Knights were still able to put up 31 shots, but Stuart Skinner made nearly every save.

Prediction & Picks: Game 3
In the 2nd Round of last year’s playoffs, the Oilers played the Calgary Flames. The first two games were in Calgary, where the Oilers lost Game One 9-6, and then won Game Two 5-3.
Traveling to Edmonton for Game 3, the Oilers won in dominant fashion 4-1 and went on the win the series in five games.
Now, both of these teams are top of the league on the road and at home. However I will give the Oilers the slight edge tonight.
However, I won’t be laying the juice on the ML, or betting on EDM in Regulation.
Both games in Edmonton went into Overtime between these two teams, with each team walking away with a 4-3 victory.
Oilers vs Knights Player Props
Leon Draisaitl Over 3.5 SOGs (-128) BetOnline
How could you not ride with this man? He’s been on an absolute tear in the playoffs.
In this playoff campaign, Draisaitl has hit this number in 5/8 games, posting at least 3 SOGs in every game. In eight total games, he has 34 SOGs on 58 Shot Attempts. He’s also had at least 6 shot attempts in every single playoff game.
Against the Knights this year, Draisaitl has cleared this in 5/6 games, including five straight. In this series, he has 9 SOGs on 15 Shot Attempts in two games.
If you’re not convinced on his SOGs, I recommend his point line as well.
Leon Draisaitl Over 1.5 Points (-122) BetOnline
Leon hits this number in 58% of home games this season, and like I said, he’s been on another level in the playoffs.
He’s had one point in all eight playoff games, and has cleared this line in 5/8, including two straight to start this series. He’s scored in 7/8 with 4 multi-goal games.
Against Vegas, Draisaitl has cleared this line in all 6 games this year. He’s hit this in 6 of his L10 overall, and 7 of his L10 in Edmonton.
I think either could be a good look for a reasonable price tonight.
Bonus Pick?
Oilers -1.5 (+135) Caesar’s
I know both games have gone into overtime in Edmonton, but I truly think the Oilers found their stride and are ready to make a championship run. Getting a dominating win on the road before traveling back home is huge for team morale.
I think Edmonton continues to cruise on the skates of their stars. I like the Oilers to get a 5-2 win at home tonight.
