Game 4 in North Carolina and the New York Rangers will be looking to stay perfect these playoffs. New York is 7-0 so far and will try to complete their 2nd sweep.
Rangers’ goalie Igor Shesterkin has been playing phenomenally. In his last 2 games, he has totaled 99 saves and has 121 saves in the series. Those numbers are absolutely bonkers when you think about it.
All 3 games have been decided by 1 goal, but the Rangers have come out on top of them all. The last 2 games have been decided in overtime as well. The public made out nice with the Rangers priced at +140 in Game 3.
Artemi Panarin netted the game winner in Game 3 and Vincent Trocheck did in Game 2. New York’s offense has been physical, and their defense has been holding it down.
They are facing a lot of shots, but still managing to keep the games close and the goals allowed low. If they can continue to play this complete game, they have a very good chance at the sweep.

Carolina has to be at a loss right now after how well they played coming into this series. They came into the playoffs and this series as the odds-on favorite to win it all and that has changed big time.
Like I had mentioned, every game has been close, so they’re only just getting out played a little bit. They are hanging around and contending in each game. Carolina needs to find ways to score more goals, which is tough right now because of how well Shesterkin is playing.
Shesterkin hasn’t allowed more than 3 goals in a game this series, which 3 goals isn’t bad for the Canes. But they aren’t playing good defense and defending their leads.
Goalie Freddy Andersen is expected in net tonight after not getting the start in Game 3. He was on fire after coming back from injury and in their round 1 series. This Rangers team is really hard to defend.

This team is really on one right now. They are finding ways to win and it’s just a matter of time before they blow the Canes out. I really like the Rangers again tomorrow even if it’s a square pick.
I’m really impressed by the Rangers and that says a lot coming from me. They have it all together and a goalie who is playing out of his mind right now. Getting hot at the right time is the key ingredient to a playoff run.
