Stars Getting back to Winning?
The Stars are sitting 2nd in the Central division with 56 points so far this season.
They are also 6-3-1 over their last 10 games but have dropped 2 straight games and are looking to get back to winning tonight in Vegas.
The Stars have been led all season by the great play of Jason Robertson and Joe Pavelski.
Robertson has 60 points so far this season, and has been great the last 2 weeks. He has 3 goals and 2 assists in his last 5 and will look to put up another great performance tonight.
Pavelski has 43 points and has also been hot the last 5 games, with 2 goals and 3 assists and 9 Shots on Goal.
The Stars will need a big performance from both of their stars tonight against the best in the Pacific, the Golden Knights.
Golden Knights Continue Rolling
The boys in Vegas are cruising right now, sitting first in the Pacific with 58 points. They are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games and will look to pick up another W tonight against the Stars.
Jack Eichel is back after missing some time in December and has looked great since returning. He has 2 Goals and 2 assists in his last 5 games and 4 points in his last 3 games agains the Stars.
Can Eichel and the Knights get it done at home tonight or will Robo and the Stars deliver and snag a big Western conference road win?
Prediction
I expect this game to be a tight, playoff atmosphere type of game.
Both teams will play physical and look to lock down each other in the offensive zone and make everything difficult.
Jake Oettinger will get the start for the Stars in the net tonight and Logan Thompson will go for the Knights.
Thompson has a 2.71 GAA on the season and only allowed 2 goals in the last matchup with the Stars.
Oettinger has a 2.28 GAA on the season and also only allowed 2 goals in the last matchup.
Looking at the matchups between these two, the UNDER 6 has hit or pushed in 14 of 17 matchups.
I see a close one again tonight, and the game to stay under the total.

As I mentioned, Eichel is back and has been playing really nice hockey since returning.
He didn’t have a shot on net against the Oilers in the last game, a Knights loss, and I think he comes out firing tonight.
He had 4 SOGs last game against the Stars and I love the value on the best offensive player for Vegas to look for his offense again.
