The UEFA Champions League returns today with nine matches all across Europe. Today will wrap up the 4th week of matches for all the teams involving, and being almost halfway done with the league phase of the competition, things are certainly starting to heat up. The table is beginning to complete it’s shape, and teams will certainly need to make some major moves in order to shake up the rankings this late. But, it’s time to dive into our best bets for the UEFA Champions League today!
Remember, following 8 games of league phase, teams will need to be in the Top 24 of the table to avoid elimination. The Top 8 will receive a bye week, while teams ranked 9th through 16th, will be randomly drawn to face a team ranked 17th-24th in a two leg knockout round matchup. But let’s get into the matter at hand.
Here are today’s matches, so let’s take a look and see if we can find any spots worth betting in the UEFA Champions League today.
- Club Brugge vs Aston Villa
- Shakhtar Donetsk vs Young Boys
- Bayern Munich vs Benfica
- Feyenoord Rotterdam vs RB Salzburg
- Inter Milan vs Arsenal
- PSG vs Atlético Madrid
- Red Star Belgrade vs Barcelona
- Sparta Prague vs Brest
- VfB Stuttgart vs Atalanta
I’ve got a couple angles I am looking at, so below are my best bets in the UCL today. For our expert’s soccer picks, go to this page here!

Inter Milan vs Arsenal Best Bets
Best Bet: Both Teams to Score- No (+106) BetOnline
I’ll admit, it took absolutely all of me not to bet the Under 2.5 (-125) in this match, which I do believe is a fantastic bet. If I get screwed, and this match ends 1-1 (+500), then so be it, but I see defense dominating the pitch tonight.
Inter Milan has not allowed a goal in all 3 of their UEFA Champions League matches so far. They shutout Manchester City and Young Boys on the road, and beat Red Star Belgrade handily, winning 4-nil. Adding onto that, they have also shutout their opponent in 4 of their L5 matches, successfully shutting out any team they face not named Juventus. Now, obviously Arsenal has a strong attack, but it is a bit banged up.
Not only is midfielder Declan Rice not even in Italy for this game, Martin Ødegaard will be getting his first start after being sidelined for over two months. I think he comes out a little rusty, and on the road, Arsenal will have plenty of a tough time scoring against Inter Milan’s back line. Both teams have 7 points in the UCL so far, and both would more than likely be happy securing another one here with a draw.
Arsenal has also not allowed a goal in the UCL competition yet, shutting out Atalanta, PSG, and Shakhtar Donetsk. On the road today, I see them struggling to score, and possibly looking ahead to their EPL match against Chelsea on Sunday. I see this being a low scoring game, but regardless, whoever nets the first goal, I see them parking the bus to try and hold on to a one goal win.
Prediction: Inter Milan 1-0 (+700)
Bayern Munich vs Benfica Best Bets
Slight Lean: Munich TT Over 2.5 (-113) BetOnline
Now I am not playing this, hence the slight lean label, and asking for 3 goals for less than even money isn’t very appealing. But, we are getting Bayern Munich back at home against a leaky defense. Bayern Munich have lost their last 2 UCL matches, but both were on the road against Aston Villa and Barcelona. At home against Benfica, I think they are able to score plenty.
They put up 9 goals already in the UCL, and since their loss to Barcelona, they’ve played fantastic soccer. Bayern Munich are coming off three straight shutout wins, 5-0, 4-0, and 3-0, in the Bundesliga and German Cup. Sure, Benfica might be a slightly harder opponent, but given their recent wins and matches in the UCL, I expect Bayern Munich to come out fired up at home to get a big win.
Prediction: Bayern Munich Wins 3-1 (+800)
