Tonight at home, I trust Barcelona to get the job done and punch their ticket to the UEFA Champions League Semifinals, something they have not done since the 2018-2019 season.

Right hand up, I bet the Under 3 in the 1st leg and suffered a gross push as Dortmund netted a goal in the 81st minute. However, I see something similar happening.

Dortmund’s late goal can heavily be attributed to Atlético playing very, very defensive, trying to possess and play keep away for most of the 2nd half. Eventually with their attack, Dortmund was able to find the back of the net, and bring the aggregate deficit to just one goal. One could also argue that Atlético’s first goal was a cheap one, as they pressed high, causing the goalkeeper to make an errant pass, leading to a Rodrigo De Paul goal in the 4th minute. With that in mind, I think we see defense come to play, keeping this game under 3.

Atlético Madrid should come out on their heels, parking the bus and trying to limit Dortmund’s attack. They certainly have the personnel to do such a thing, however with Dortmund’s counter attack at home, Madrid may have their work cut out for them.

Going back to the play that got us a push in the first leg, I think we see defenses show out. There were a couple of flukey goals in the first match, so tonight I think we see the Soccer Gods even it out. Give me defenses and a low scoring bout tonight.
