Since opening the WNBA season with two losses to the Minnesota Lynx and winning only one of their first four games, the Seattle Storm have been unstoppable.
Tonight, with six consecutive wins to their name, the Storm will get another crack at the Lynx. The matchup at the Target Center in Minneapolis is set for a 7:00 pm ET tip.
Both teams enter tonight’s game at 7-3, but while the Storm have won six straight and are coming off of a highly impressive 13-point road win over the Las Vegas Aces, the Lynx are coming off of a last-second loss at Phoenix, which ended a three-game win streak.
Even though the Lynx are 4-1 at home with their lone blemish against the Aces, the Storm, who have won their last three road games and are 4-2 on the road this season, are favored by a small margin for this matchup.

Seattle Storm vs Minnesota Lynx Betting Analysis
According to preseason WNBA championship odds, the Storm were considered a potential title contender after making some big moves in the offseason.
And after stumbling out of the gate, it appears that those preseason prognostications might have been spot on.
The best indication is Friday’s 78-65 win over the Aces. Even though the two-time defending champions are currently without Team USA representative Chelsea Gray and have not fired on all cylinders thus far, Seattle’s victory still goes down as one of the most impressive of the last couple of seasons. To beat the Aces is one thing. To beat the Aces at Michelob Ultra Arena is another thing. But to beat the Aces by double digits at Michelob Ultra Arena is something to truly hang your hat on.
Can the Storm follow up that statement win with another one? Two of the Lynx’s three losses this season are last-second one-point losses, so they aren’t far away at all from being 9-1 and tied atop the WNBA standings with the New York Liberty.
Minnesota’s lone home loss is an 80-66 loss to the Aces on May 29, and in their other home games, they have won by nine (a 102-93 overtime win over the Storm), 17 (an 84-67 win over the Liberty), 24 (a 95-71 win over the Mercury), and 11 (an 87-76 win over the Dallas Wings). So, the Storm certainly have their work cut out to beat the Lynx for the first time this season.
At this point of the season, trends do start coming into play a bit more than, say, two weeks ago. Still, the eye test is a big part of determining how a matchup may shake out.
The Storm are absolutely passing the eye test right now, and they are a much better team than when they faced the Lynx in their first two games of the season.
However, the Lynx have proven quite a lot of in the first quarter of the season themselves, and Friday’s loss in Phoenix doesn’t take away from that by any means.
